A FRESH IDENTITY FOR INDIA'S FIRST DIY MEAL KITS
CHALLENGE
Creating an identity for a DIY meal kits brand came with a unique challenge-most people had never heard of the concept. The logo, identity and packaging had to work double duty: they needed to build trust, look good and at the same time introduce, explain and excite all at once.
Kook is an Indian food-tech startup that offers DIY Meal Kits for blah blah.
APPROACH
Every choice, from colours to type to packaging became a way to quitely educate the audience and spark intrigue. And all of it was executed in line with the client's soft, calm, to-the-point aesthetic choice
Starting with the logo, we attempted to illustrate the concept of a meal kit, to as to make a clean, petite icon that's communicable to a wide audience and follows the desired aesthetic. The colour palette used Indian food-friendly hues in a soft, pastel format that speaks for hygiene and trust as well.
The task was to design something cost-friendly, applicable on standard corrugated boxes, packets etc. We went on to make a matte-finish printed stickers using typography as the main design element and means to communicate all the essential information. A text-based approach with the colour palette became the general design aesthetic for the packaging.
SOCIAL MEDIA ASSETS
Using the above brand guideline, we delivered a series of icons and graphics to be used on social media, website etc
